Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

San Diego Anxiety and OCD Center provides evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for children, teens, and adults with such concerns as:

Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)

I offer and hold specialty certification in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for Tourette Syndrome and other tic disorders. CBIT is a first-line treatment for these conditions. I also provide Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT) for body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as hair-pulling, skin-picking, nail biting, and thumb-sucking.

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)

I provide SPACE treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. SPACE is a parent-based treatment to help you learn skills and tools to help your child overcome their worries and fears. When SPACE treatment is successful, children feel less anxious and function better in their environments.
